What Office post can really be quite complete without mentioning Drew Barrymore’s Flower Films office from the April ’08 issue of Domino. I just adore Ruthie Sommers and the office she created for Drew is a perfect fit. I love the personal touches everywhere. How could you not be inspired in a space that so obviously fits ‘you’.
The office is full of little nooks and quirky vignettes that speak volumes about Drew and lend a decidedly un-‘officey’ tone.
I spotted Scrabble! – what was that they said about all work and no play? This space definitely makes sure Drew is not a dull girl!
As Drew said in her Domino interview ” You can never, never have too many books.” – I agree!
Talk about an inspiration board – Drew has an inspiration wall!
I love this green kitchen with all white dinnerware throughout! Painting the shelves the same colour as the wall adds cohesion and really makes even the simplest white dinnerware stand out.
Personal touches everywhere! – even the bathroom.
They say do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life – well I think in an office like this you’d never really have a day where you felt like you were at work. Ruthie’s created the perfect creative and inspiring space!
